The online courses have the same learning objectives as the face-to-face version and taught by our experienced teaching staff.

For your asynchronous online learning, you will be provided with self-guided lesson course materials which may include audio and visual content. You will be expected to complete assigned work as well as participate in discussion boards or social media platforms with your tutor and fellow learners. You will work to your own schedule in asynchronous learning.

The synchronous or live online session is your virtual classroom. It is the opportunity to check your understanding and engage in authentic language practice with your online tutor and fellow learners.

We believe that to truly benefit from the online classes, you should be competent in written and spoken English at B1 on the CEFR. This is to ensure that you are sufficiently able to fully understand and complete the asynchronous coursework.

The short course helps you craft a well-organised essay for Writing Tasks 1 and 2 of the Academic IELTS writing. You will understand and interpret various diagrams and write various essays ranging from discursive to argumentative.

There are five (5) units covering the essentials of Tasks 1 and 2 of the IELTS writing paper. You are advised to spend 45 to 60 minutes on each unit. There is a 20 to 30-minute synchronous (live online) session with your tutor at the end of every unit. This virtual classroom may be pre-scheduled or held at a mutually agreed time.

This 24-hour course is designed to provide candidates with learning tips and strategies for the four language proficiency skills - Reading, Listening, Writing and Speaking. Learners are expected to work though their course materials and practice tests before the synchronous sessions. There will be 12 synchronous sessions. We prepare candidates for both the Academic IELTS and the General Training IELTS.
